Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 1, 2026

This privacy notice discloses the privacy practices for Whistleblower Justice Network (“WJN,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and applies to https://www.whistleblowerjustice.net (the “Site”). This notice applies solely to information collected by this website, except where stated otherwise. It explains:

  • What information we collect;
  • How we use and share it;
  • How we handle SMS/text communications;
  • How sensitive case information is protected;
  • Your privacy rights and how to exercise them;
  • How this policy may change; and
  • How to raise concerns about misuse of your data.

Information Collection, Use, and Sharing

We are the sole owners of the information collected on this site. We only collect information that you voluntarily provide to us — via our website contact/intake form, by email, or through other direct contact with us.

We use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us, including evaluating and following up on a potential whistleblower matter. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, and we do not share it with any third party outside our organization except as necessary to fulfill your request — for example, connecting you with a law firm or attorney, or coordinating with a government agency, and only as appropriate to your situation and with your involvement.

We may contact you via email in the future with updates about your inquiry.

Text Messaging (SMS)

If you provide your phone number to us through our website contact form or intake phone line, we may use it to contact you by phone call or text message regarding your inquiry, including to follow up on your questions or to schedule a confidential consultation.

  • We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and we do not send bulk or automated text messages.
  • All text messages are one-to-one and relate directly to your own inquiry or matter with us.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
  • You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP, or by contacting us directly.

Confidentiality of Whistleblower and Case Information

We understand that information submitted to us — including details about suspected fraud, misconduct, or a potential whistleblower claim — is highly sensitive, and in many cases may involve information you are legally required to protect.

  • Information you share with us in connection with a potential or existing matter is treated as confidential and is used only to evaluate, pursue, or communicate with you about that matter.
  • Access to case-related information is limited to WJN representatives and, where applicable, law firms or attorneys directly involved in your matter.
  • We do not disclose your identity or the substance of your submission to any third party — including any employer, government agency, or opposing party — except as necessary to represent your interests, as authorized by you, or as required by law.

Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may contact us at any time to:

  • See what personal data we have about you, if any;
  • Correct or update that data;
  • Request that we delete your data (subject to any legal or professional obligation we have to retain case-related records);
  • Opt out of future contact from us; and
  • Raise any concern about how your data is used.

Residents of certain states (including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, and others with comprehensive privacy laws) may have additional statutory rights, which may include the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion or correction, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Because we do not sell or share personal information (including for targeted advertising), the right to opt out of sale/sharing does not apply to our practices — but you may still contact us with any questions about how your data is used. We honor applicable rights for all site visitors and contacts, regardless of state of residence.

California residents should also note our practices under the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA): our site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us via email at info@whistleblowerjustice.net.

Security

We take precautions to protect your information, online and offline.

  • Sensitive information submitted through the website is encrypted in transit (look for “https” and a closed-lock icon in your browser).
  • Only personnel who need the information to perform a specific job (e.g., intake, case evaluation, billing) are granted access to personally identifiable or case-related information.
  • Systems storing personal or case information are maintained in a secure environment.

Cookies

We use cookies on this site to improve your experience and recognize repeat visitors — for example, so you don’t need to re-enter information more than once.

We do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use cookies or tracking on this site for targeted or interest-based advertising. We do not allow third-party advertisers to place cookies on our site.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising purposes, and we do not allow third parties to use data collected on this site for their own advertising.

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice (such as a notice on this page or a direct communication).
